Notice of Lift Upgrading Works
Our E & N-building lifts have been in use for almost 40 years. For safety, maintenance and energy efficiency reasons, they will be upgraded, in 2 phases.
Phase 1: E-building lift upgrading from Monday, 5 May to early August 2025.
No lift access at the E-building. Lift access at N-building IS available.
Phase 2: N-building lift upgrading from August to November 2025.
No lift access at the N-building. Lift access at E-building IS available.
Impact on Sunday Gatherings (From 11 May to early August 2025)
8.30am Congregation: EB1 will be available for those with mobility concerns to participate in the gathering. Please note that this is not an 8.30am overflow space, but prioritised for the less mobile.
BANG: Assembly area after Kidspot (both 8.30am & 10.45am Gatherings) will temporarily revert to the E-Building Slope. Phase 2 impact details to follow.
Other information to note:
- There will be a 1.2m wide by 1m deep hoarding around the lift at every floor of the E-building. Please mind your surroundings as you participate in church activities in the E-building.
- Last 2 lots at the furthest end of the E-building carpark (opposite the baptism pool) will be hoarded for the contractor’s store area, throughout the works.
- On Saturdays, upgrading works will be carried out from 9am-6pm, with noisy works scheduled till 1pm. We seek your understanding as there may be some noise during this period, especially for those participating in church activities on Saturdays.
- To accommodate members of Mandarin Gathering (MG) with limited mobility, MG will temporarily relocate to N2 during Phase 2 of lift upgrading works. Further details will be shared soon.
